Meet our guide at your hotel in Sapa then leave Sapa town, we start walking downhill to Cat Cat village, which is home of Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Enjoy beautiful landscape and scenery along the road. We reach Cat Cat village, trek down to the valley bottom to the beautiful waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station; stop for photo with bridge and waterfall and take a short break.

Continue our trek on a dirt trail through rice paddy terraced fields to Y Linh Ho village. The area is still covered by rain forest under the protection of Hoang Lien National Park. We will arrive in Y Linh Ho village inhabited by Black Hmong people where we will have one more rest before climbing toward the main road. Our vehicle will pick us up there and drive us back to Sapa.

Note: The trail can be slippery during rainy season from Cat Cat to Y Linh Ho.
